Exhibition: Anna Jermolaewa in Vienna

Phileas, Opernring 17
8 May – 14 September 2024

For 10 years Phileas has been closely affiliated with the Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. In 2024 we again collaborated with the national pavilion to support the production of Anna Jermolaewa's exhibition, and are presenting a group of new and existing works by the artist here in Vienna.

The film-based installation Rehearsal for Swan Lake, which plays a central role in Venice, has been expanded to include a large body of preparatory material, while the 2009 video work Alexandra Wysokinska/20 Years Later—which looks back on the artist’s own experience as an émigré—is shown in a revised form. Sculptures, drawings, watercolours and photographic works will also be presented in the exhibition.

Anna Jermolaewa: Assemblé will be on display until 14 September 2024 at Opernring 17, 1010 Vienna. Our opening hours are Tuesday – Friday 11am–5pm and Saturday 11am– 3pm.
